PLEASE NOTE: After much deliberation we have decided to drop the studio from Piano Guild Auditions. The cost\/effort is no longer equal to the interest. We’ve had a great couple of decades, though! Perhaps we will revisit it in the years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NEW: Student Hall of Fame!
We’ve had contests over the past several months. The teacher chose the winners for November (Stacy), December (Andrew) and January (Nolan) based on criteria that each student knew about – keeping practice charts, maintaining a solid repertoire list and most especially – cooperation at lessons. February (Harper) and March (TBD) are different – these are creative contents with the students themselves being the judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Summer Tours and Teaser Show
We’ve been doing something new for the past several summers – small recitals at Senior Centers! Also we were privileged to perform in a Teaser Show the morning of our Piano Recital in the Atrium of the Arnot Mall. We may use a similarly scheduled format for our Summer Tour this year! And perhaps even a change in venue from Senior Centers to Rehab Facilities – Like Broad Acres, The Green Home, and The Carleton in Wellsboro.
