Musopoly Class!

Congratulations to Team Rebekah & Bobby for being first place winners! (Bobby attributes much of his amazing success to “Little Einsteins”) Next up was Team Alyssa & Kyra Sue who came in second. Team Solo (a.k.a. Bryan) brought up the rear . . . . but we agree that all did a GREAT JOB! All the students were fair and friendly judges and everyone walked away with a prize of their choice.

Piano Studio Closings* (2 of 4 for 2012):

    • April 10/11/12
    • May 8/9/10

* Tuition is the same regardless of how many weeks are in the month
* Tuition includes, on average, four lessons per month (48 Lessons per year)
* We will be closed, with advanced notice, four weeks throughout the year
* If a lesson should fall on a holiday, rescheduling may be requested in advance

Piano Makeup* / Guild Performance Class (2 of 4 for 2012):

    • Monday, April 9
    • Monday, May 21

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND, but not mandatory.
*It is our policy to close the studio four weeks during the year, with notice, and these closings are not paid for by the student and will not be rescheduled or made up. Make-up Classes may be scheduled occasionally due to inclement weather and/or upcoming events. Any student may attend. These group lessons will be one hour in length and will be spent working together on theory, rhythm skills, ensemble playing, as well as performance training. Other topics will be covered, depending on the needs of the group as a whole.

Piano Guild Auditions (Cedar Arts Center, Corning, NY):

    • Friday, June 1, 2012

Piano Studio Closed in July

    • There will be no lessons the entire month of July
    • There will be no tuition collected for July
    • Lessons will resume Tuesday, July 31 for August
    • Everyone will then have five scheduled lessons in August
    • August tuition will be collected the end of June

Our Event Posters are Ready!

Each student may receive one each of 4 different posters if they will be able to place them in a local business near them for advertising. Ideas: Post Office, Grocery Store, Drug Store, School – anywhere that you find a cork board for posting (please be respectful of other postings) or a glass door or street side window to tape it inside (please be sure to ask permission!) A sample is found below:
